Our Need:

We are looking for an individual with strong web development skills, including Javascript, PHP, HTML and CSS. Specifically, we are looking for a developer who is familiar with the Google Maps API, MarkerCluster and WordPress.

What is this project?

We are developing an open, community-created map of British Columbia, specifically listing permaculture practitioners, green businesses, projects of all shapes and sizes, sustainable and organic farms and organizations. We have the majority of the functionality built, but are seeking someone with expertise in the languages and skills listed above to help us finish the project.

This is a not-for-profit project. Our goal is to create a community resource helping citizens in BC find businesses, people and resources that support their drive towards personal and community sustainability.

At this point we are asking for volunteers, however, we are currently applying for a variety of funding, with the possible aim of being able to provide compensation in the future.
